Option to stream without background music

The music in the background often makes the content spoken come off as far too over dramatized and insincere for the spoken and inspired word of God. Jesus didnt need harps playing behind him when he spoke and neither should we have to listen to them when we're listening to the spoken word. For this reason I'd really appreciate the ability to play a stream that didn't have any music.

I agree, the music is sometimes very distracting and not even appropriate for the content.  I personally would like to just hear the spoken word.

I don't know what version you prefer, but I discovered that the 1985 KJV does not have music, whereas the 1997 version does. I don't know about any other versions, but I agree that this distracts my mind from the text.

Thanks for letting us know BJ, I will start using that version now.  The music is just way too distracting...

I would like to know why the enervating music is there at all - what is the use of it?
