How do I Change a Language?

You can switch languages by opening the app and going to the main menu. You will see the menu option "BIBLE" so tap that and you are taken to the language list.  After it loads the list, you can scroll through and select the languages of your choice.  Some languages have more than one version available. The green dots underneath each version name shows you if the text and audio is available for that translation.

Should you need further assistance or have a question, you're welcome to contact our Bible.is support team

Thank you so much for taking the time to contact us.  We appreciate hearing from our Bible.is family and hope to provide you with an immersive Bible experience.

Our goal is to create a vast library of Bible translations available in audio and text.  So we will definitely add your request of the Swedish Bible to our list of audio translations.  Unfortunately, we have to have permission or agreements to utilize certain audio and texts depending on the language, version or translation. If we have an agreement or permission then we add the language as soon as we are able. If not, it becomes a matter of waiting. This is also true for the recording process.  I do not have a recording of the Swedish language available yet, but we will be working on that and providing it as soon as we can.  We would encourage and appreciate your prayers as we work to attain these permissions.

Let us know if you have any other questions or ideas; it will be our pleasure to help out.

Hello Alberte,

Thank you for letting us know your feedback.  We are working on this fix immediately.  I am so sorry if you have been inconvenienced with the Bible.is app.  I will be happy to tell you there is a fix with version 1.8.1 that will be coming very soon, so keep an eye out for this update.  In the meantime, you can try a delete and reinstall of the app and it should get you going again.  I know this is not the best solution, yet we appreciate your willingness to try this work around.

If you are working with Bible.is online, it should be up and running again.  We appreciate your patience and prayers and technology has its mysteries sometimes.  Let us know your outcome and we will be happy to provide you with a great solution to get you back into the app.

Blessings,

Brian

Thank you so much for taking time to write us with this. I would love to help you find your way to the Spanish Bibles. It is still there but has been Localized, meaning the app has been created to work as an Spanish app, so you can access the Bible.is app all in that language.

You can do this with these steps:

1. Go to the App Store on your iPhone and type in Faith Comes By Hearing

2. look for Biblia.is

3. Install the app

4. Enjoy the Spanish interface

If you do not want to do that, then just open the Bible.is app in the standard English interface, and go to change the language version.  The Spanish language will be under, “E” for Espanol.

Another option to localize the app without installing a new version is to change the language on the device.  You can do this with these steps:

1. Go to your settings on your iPhone home screen
2. Go to General
3. Scroll down and go to International
4. Tap on Language
5. Select Arabic from the list of Languages.

Let us know if you have any further questions about this and it would be our pleasure to help you out further.

God bless,

Brian

Hello,

Thank you so much for taking time to let me know your request.  The Arabic language text and audio is still in our list of available languages, but has been localized, so it might not appear as before.

To find it, simply open the Bible.is app and go to the main menu icons.  From there select "Bibles" and look through the language list.  If you pass all the languages Arabic appears at the end of the language list. The reason for this is because it is not in the standard Romanized alphabet, so it comes after "Z".  From the search bar, you can also type in Arabic and it will populate with that language.

Please feel free to contact us again should you need further assistance: support@bible.is

Thank you for your time

Brian

Hello Aboujames,

We are always trying to provide languages and versions, so depending on what our text agreements we have in place will determine what we can provide on Bible.is.  I will see if we can provide the OT for Arabic.  Thank you for your patience and time.

Blessings,

Brian
