downloadable audio

I would like to listen on my way to work but it keeps trying to buffer the audio. How about allowing us to download the audio to our phones for when we don't have access to the internet. Or just pre-buffer 30-min chunks, that way if we go into a dead zone or Edge area we can still listen.

Would definately like to see a downloadable audio option in future releases as opposed to having the work around of downloading audio bible seperately in itunes

Is this available yet?  I know you can get audio podcasts...but can one listen from within the bible.is program using one of your listening "plans/programs"?

I have the same problem when I travel and get out of the 3G areas. It is very difficult to listen to the bible when the majority of the time it is buffeting so all you hear are half words. I think the solution is to buffer at least the chapter that you currently in so that you get to hear the screen that you are on. This would reduce the buffer time and it would be acceptable to have a wait to start each new chapter.

Count me in, I would like to download the audio as well, I got the wifi only iPad and so I don't always have a connection to listen.

Also, was wondering if it would be possible to highlight a section to be spoken, or just click on the verse that you want to hear -- just a thought.

Because of patchy 3G coverage, this makes the difference between really useful and not at all useful for audio.  Without this, I would just listen in iTunes to a download I already have and follow in another Bible text I already have.

Thanks for what you're doing and the features already delivered.

I would totally pay for a version that allowed you to download the audio as well.  Most of the time I'm on the Edge network and the buffering just isn't fast enough.

This would be a great feature for those of us that spend a lot of time on the plane.  Having the ability to download the entire Bible would be great I travel internationally and this would help tremendously.

Yes,

This is definitely a feature that has been very highly requested.  I would love to let you know we are working on ways to implement this, however it is very difficult to download 700MB to over 3GB per New and Old Testament Bibles.  We do have some options to download our Audio Bibles from Faith Comes By Hearing.

iTunes Podcasts:

Audio Bible Downloader:
