What you can do is to imitate what the "Youversion Bible" App did. When you first touch the verse, a little icon appears and lets you either keep selecting more verses or do some actions with the verses that you already chose.

Nice suggestion, becasue selecting is sometimes difficult on this Bible.is App.

However, I love how I can add notes offline! Youversion bible app isn't able to do so.

Yeah I agree also. It is common since to me that you would add that feature from the get go. Instead of having to highlight each verse one at a time until your fingers go numb is ridiculous. And would be nice relate all the highlighted verses together instead of one at a time so you can remember what you highlighted them for. The note part is a great reference but it only refers to one verse you highlighted making it redundant.  When I go to my dashboard I only see highlighted verses and no relation.
