Localized Apps Retiring.

Brian -

We would like to let you know there are several localized apps we will be retiring as of April, 2014. The code base, which these apps were built upon will no longer be support by a primary app store, so the decision has been made to retire these apps. A list of these apps are as follows:

  • Arabic,
  • Spanish,
  • Chinese (Simplified),
  • Chinese (Traditional)
  • Italian,
  • Russian,
  • Vietnamese,
  • Indonesian,
  • Dutch,
  • Farsi/Persian,
  • French,
  • Korean,
  • Portuguese,
  • Thai,
  • Hebrew.

We understand that this can be upsetting and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. On the other hand, I would recommend you try our Universal app, where you will have the same great Bible experience along with some new features. You can take advantage of this app by visiting or your favorite app stores:

WAIT! Do you currently have bookmarks, highlights, and notes in your app?

Before you update to the Universal app, I would recommend you save/sync your annotations (bookmarks, highlights, and notes) to your free account. Don't have a account yet? No problem, you can get signed up right now for free. Open your app, go to MORE, ACCOUNT, SIGNUP, then save/sync your annotations. [You can also sign up on online. Once you're done, open the app, log in, and save/sync your annotations.

Now you should be all set to upgrade to the Universal app. If you have further questions about this, please contact us here at Support or email us and we would be happy to help you further.
